12. Ecological information (reference: 4, 5, 6)
The product should not get into any kind of water without treatment. Dissolved in water, the material is easily biodegradeable (90 per cent) and will not cause any disturbance in waste water treatment plants. Due to its insolubility in water, larger amounts need to be eliminated by separators such as those typically used for fats and oils.
Ecotoxicity:
Fish LC50 ( 48 hrs ) > 100 mg/L.
Pseudomonas putida EC50 > 100 mg/L.
Water endangering class: 1 (slightly water endangering).
The data here is based on the two main components contained in this product
.
13. Waste disposal (reference: 4, 5, 6)
Leak-and-spill procedures
:
Sweep up the liquid in dry sand and shovel into a closed container.
Disposal
:
Stored waste / recovered material used for recycling along with corresponding crude oils. For contaminated packing, observe local, state and federal regulations.
