Solubility

Insoluble in water and petroleum ether. Soluble in ethanol and methanol. Solubility in rubber approximately 0.5%

Notes on Uses

Accicure HBS is a delayed action accelerator. Accicure HBS produces vulcanisates of excellent quality whose mechanical properties and ageing characteristics resemble those of boosted thiazole systems.

Used in conjugation with Accitard RE fast curing yet very safe systems are obtainable. Accicure HBS is also suitable for mixes containing high loadings of reinforcing siliceous fillers.

Storage and Handling

Store in a cool dry place.

No special handling precautions are necessary. Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
