Solubility

Insoluble in water. Slightly soluble in petroleum ether and in alcohol, soluble in chloroform. Solubility in natural rubber approximately 0.1%.

Notes on Uses

Accinox B is an excellent general purpose staining antioxidant. It confers very good heat resistance and good flex cracking resistance. It disperses readily in rubber and does not bloom. It is used in cables, curing bags and in mechanical rubber goods. Accinox B is suitable for use in latex compounds.

Storage and Handling

Stable indefinitely under normal storage conditions.

No special precautions are necessary. Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. Skin contamination: Wash liberally with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
